Solar lighting project in alleys surrounding a school in Kuala Lumpur-Split-type solar wall-mounted lighting installation case
Project Background: Safety Pain Points in Dark Areas Around Schools
Three alleys that students must use to go to and from school have long been without lighting, posing significant safety hazards; traditional streetlights cannot be installed due to the lack of power grid interfaces and high costs associated with coordinating wiring; previously, temporary light bulbs had an 80% failure rate over three months, indicating a lack of maintenance.
Solution: Wall-mounted split solar lighting system.
Wall-mounted design (no pole required, adjustable illumination angle), suitable for localized lighting scenarios;
LED light source + monocrystalline silicon photovoltaic panel + energy storage battery, covering a 10-meter-wide alley;
Shock-resistant aluminum shell + IP65 waterproof, suitable for rainy seasons and environments with debris in alleys.
Implemented results (illuminated 3 safe alleys around the campus in 2 days)
Safety Upgrade: Full lighting coverage, zero safety incidents;
Cost Efficiency: Zero coordination, zero wiring, completed in 2 days without disputes; Solar self-powered, zero operating costs, maintenance only requires cleaning once every six months.
